The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum will host the College Station Noon Lions Club’s “I Love America” Fourth of July Celebration at the George Bush Presidential Library Center at Texas A&M University.

The College Station Noon Lions Club has organized the event for more than 50 years, growing from humble beginnings to now one of the largest July Fourth Celebrations in the Brazos Valley.

The museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. with free admission for everyone all day. Concessions begin at 5:30 p.m. and live music at 6 p.m., including performances by Kane Alvarado and Xchange with special guest Courtnie Ramirez, who was featured on the singing competition “The Voice.” The Kids’ Zone, complete with games and bounce houses for children, will be open from 6 – 8:30 p.m. The evening will culminate with a performance by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra at 8:45 p.m. and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

Free parking is available at Fan Field, the gravel parking lot on Research Parkway on the Texas A&M campus. There will be no shuttles from West Campus Garage or Reed Arena. Barbara Bush Drive will close at 4 p.m.; all event attendees must enter through Discovery Drive or John Kimbrough Parkway. Handicapped parking is available in Lot 41 in front of the museum entrance. Come early and bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. No pets or glass containers.

The College Station Noon Lions Club and the Bush Library and Museum would like to thank their partners and major sponsors: City of College Station, City of Bryan, George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, Union Pacific, Arts Council of Brazos Valley, Wells Fargo, HEB, Nina Astin Winkler Trust, Aggieland Printing, Bryan Coca-Cola, RDM Audio, Slovacek’s Sausage, Texas Commercial Waste, Conley-Garrett Moving and Storage, KBTX News, KAMU, The Eagle, Candy 95 and Maverick 100.9.
