As part of the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets’ Branch Day, III Armored Corps will bring equipment from Fort Cavazos to College Station. Visitors can get inside an M1 Abrams main battle tank, visit with a military working dog team, see an explosive ordnance disposal robot in action, and more. There will be more than one dozen military vehicles to explore at Aggie Spirit Lawn from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days, and III Armored Corps soldiers will be there to share what it is like to serve in the U.S. Army.

With nearly 100,000 soldiers, more than 700 main battle tanks and more than 1,000 Bradley Fighting Vehicles across four divisions, III Armored Corps comprises more than 40% of the U.S. Army’s combat power.
