Scholars Will Discuss Academic Collaboration At Hagler Institute Symposium
The Hagler Institute for Advanced Study will present a symposium titled, “The Art of Collaboration in Academic Research,” on Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Rudder Forum at Texas A&M University’s Rudder Theatre Complex.
The all-day event will provide a showcase for renowned, award-winning scholars in science and engineering from around the world discuss their careers, their experiences and the importance of collaborative research. Most of speakers belong to more than one National Academy.
The symposium starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m., followed by a reception. The Hagler Institute is taking registrations for the event at hias@tamu.edu.
Thirteen scholars, including two past Hagler Fellows, will participate:

- Dr. Yonggang Huang, Northwestern University and Hagler Fellow Class of 2018-19

- Dr. Mark Lundstrom, Purdue University
- Dr. Peter J.A. Nordlander, Rice University
- Dr. Warren Oliver, KLA Corporation
- Dr. George M. Pharr, Texas A&M University
- Dr. John A. Rogers, Northwestern University and Hagler Fellow Class of 2015-16
- Dr. Dashun Wang, Northwestern University
- Dr. R. Stanley Williams, Texas A&M University
