MSC Town Hall at Texas A&M University is hosting a Spring Concert Series at the Wood Stage in Aggie Park that is free and open to campus and community members.

The first of four concerts in the series will feature the Houston-based, international award-winning Keeshea Pratt Band this Friday, Jan. 20 beginning at 7 p.m.

“I’ve seen the Keeshea Pratt Band in concert and I’m looking forward to another energetic performance wrapped around great R&B,” said Doug Sweet, program advisor for MSC Town Hall. “I’m told there may be even a bit of Zydeco for added spice.”

For the past 70 years, MSC Town Hall’s purpose has driven the student-led, staff-supported committee to bring diverse talent to Aggieland. The Spring Concert Series is the latest committee effort to highlight the arts and is generously supported by Texas A&M President M. Katherine Banks.

“The arts enrich our lives and are an important component to providing a transformational education for our students,” said Banks. “The Office of the President is delighted to support this concert series for our campus and local communities’ enjoyment.”

The Spring Concert Series will feature additional performances on Feb. 10, March 25 and April 14.

For information about upcoming artists for the series, follow MSC Town Hall on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
