How To Vote In The Midterm Elections

Texas A&M and Brazos County have teamed to bus people from campus to the nearest voting location at College Station City Hall.

Information from Brazos County and Texas election offices will help ensure you have all you need to vote in the 2022 midterm elections.

Am I Eligible To Vote?

The deadline to register to vote was Oct. 11. Check to see if you’re registered on the Texas Secretary of State website.

When Can I Vote?

  • Early voting runs from Oct. 24 through Nov. 4.
  • Election Day is Nov. 8.

Times vary based on the day:

  • Oct. 24-29, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 30, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Where Can I Vote?

Texas A&M has partnered with Brazos County to shuttle voters to and from campus for early voting at College Station City Hall.

If you are early voting, you may vote at any polling place that is designated for early voting; in Brazos County there are five. On Election Day, you may vote at any of the 25 voting centers in the county.

    300 East Wm. J Bryan Pkwy, Suite 100, Bryan
  • College Station City Hall
    1101 Texas Avenue, Bush 4141 Community Room, College Station
  • College Station Utilities Meeting & Training Facility
    1603 Graham Road, College Station
  • Galilee Baptist Church
    804 N. Logan, Bryan

The Memorial Student Center on campus will be open for voting on Election Day in Room 2406 (second floor).

Can I Vote By Mail?

You are allowed to vote by mail if:

  • You will be 65 or older by Election Day.
  • You will not be in your county for the entire span of voting, including early voting.
  • You cite a sickness or disability that prevents you from voting in person without needing personal assistance or without the likelihood of injuring your health.
  • You’re expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day.
  • You are confined in jail but otherwise eligible (i.e. not convicted of a felony).

If you are eligible to vote by mail, you must submit an Application for a Ballot by Mail (ABBM) to the Early Voting Clerk in the county where you are registered to vote.

For the Nov. 8 general election, the last day your ABBM can be received by the clerk is Oct. 28. Learn more about voting by mail.
