Faculty, Staff and Students,

Due to continued inclement weather, in-person and virtual classes for students are canceled Friday, Feb. 19 across Texas A&M flagship locations in the state. For information about other Texas A&M University System schools, please consult each university’s channels.

Work for nonessential employees at Texas A&M will resume virtually Friday. Employees are advised to contact their supervisor if experiencing continued issues with web access related to the ice storm.

As advised by our utilities and facilities teams, we are continuing to assess damage, make repairs and reset buildings for heating. Storm damage, including leaks on the Bryan-College Station campus, can be reported to the facilities communications center at 979-845-4311.

On Monday, Feb. 22 and Tuesday, Feb. 23, classes will resume as virtual-only and work for nonessential employees will continue as virtual-only. The exception is the College of Dentistry, which will resume dental clinics on Monday, Feb. 22.

The Office of the Provost soon will issue guidance on classes and make-up work.

We will continue to monitor ongoing conditions and provide updates accordingly.

Hours for the warming center at Reed Arena have been extended through noon Friday, Feb. 19.

Thank you and please take care!
