Free COVID-19 Tests Available At 5 Texas A&M Sites For Faculty, Students And Staff

No appointment necessary for those without symptoms.

Anyone without signs of illness is encouraged to visit any of the five Texas A&M Test locations offering the saliva test; these sites do not require an appointment or insurance. Results are available within 1 to 2 business days. Testing is available for any faculty, staff, student or contract worker at Texas A&M but is not open to the public.

The locations include:

Student Rec Center, 187 Corrington Drive (enter on South side of building)

Tuesday, Feb. 9: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 10: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 11: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Parking available in 100J for anyone holding a Texas A&M parking permit. A few designated free parking spots have been made available for non-permit-holders to use while testing.

Tuesday, Feb. 9: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 11: 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 11: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

*Weather Permitting – For the safety of Testing staff as well as anyone seeking testing, outdoor testing sights will close due to lightning, strong winds or heavy rain.

Anyone who is sick or thinks they might have COVID-19 should visit a healthcare provider, such as A.P. Beutel clinic or seek clinic testing at any of the following testing sites, appointment required, which can be made through the Curative Inc. site. Results are available directly from Curative, usually within 3 days. The test involves a mouth swab.

Outdoors behind CB1; parking is available for any HSC parking permit holder. A few spots for non-permit holders are available during testing.


Vaccine:
 We recommend that you inquire with your local provider, pharmacy, county hub or hospital to see if they have the COVID-19 vaccine available and would allow you to schedule an appointment.
