The Sydney and J.L. Huffines Institute for Sports Medicine and Human Performance in the Texas A&M University College of Education and Human Development will host the 8th Annual Hilliard Discussion Friday, Nov. 2 from 1-4 p.m. at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center at the George Bush Presidential Library Complex.
Eight sports medicine and human performance experts will speak conversationally for 15 minutes each.
“Our subject areas are wide-ranging and cover topics such as nutrition, physical performance, and how the brain makes it all work together,” Dr. Timothy Lightfoot, director of the Huffines Institute and professor of kinesiology, said.
This year’s presentations will include “Physiology of Athletes,” “The LINE-1 Jumping Gene” and “Taste the Future.”
