Texas A&M University will resume normal operations tomorrow (Jan. 17). Classes on the College Station campus will begin as planned and the university will be in full operation.

Icy conditions continue to impact areas across the state. Students, faculty and staff concerned about safely reporting to campus should contact their professors, supervisors or department heads as appropriate.

As operations resume, the campus community is urged to exercise caution when walking around campus as there may still be patches of ice on sidewalks, ramps and steps leading into buildings and parking garages.

The following Texas A&M Health Science Center campus sites will delay start until 10 a.m. tomorrow:

  • Coastal Bend Health Education Center
  • Kingsville (College of Pharmacy)
  • McAllen

Texas A&M University at Galveston will provide an update on the status of their campus shortly. Visit http://tamug.edu/ for updated information.
