“Our main focus is the safety of the football fans attending our home event,” Aggie Director of Athletics Eric Hyman explained. “We are hopeful the weather will move through the area in the early morning hours on Saturday so that all of our events surrounding the game will be able to take place.

Please monitor our social websites as well as local media reports and we will keep everyone informed as best as we can.”

Severe weather is scheduled to move through the area late in the evening on Friday. The weather could affect Midnight Yell Practice at Kyle Field.

The scheduled “Spirit Walk” for the Aggie football team slated for 8:50 a.m. on Saturday, which includes the Kids Yell Practice at 8:35 a.m. at the Association of Former Students, has been cancelled.

Kyle Field gates are scheduled to open at 9 a.m. In the event of severe weather, sheltered areas near the stadium such as the Memorial Student Center including Rudder Tower, the Association of Former Students Building and the parking garages including the West Campus Parking Garage and the University Center Parking Garage across from Rudder Tower are available.

The Corps of Cadets are scheduled to “step off” from the Quad at 9:30 a.m. and the march in is slated to begin at 9:50 a.m. inside Kyle Field with Parsons Mounted Calvary followed by the rest of the Corps of Cadets.

Kickoff for the game is slated for 11:01 a.m. and the game is scheduled to be televised by the SEC Network.

A reminder no umbrellas are allowed inside Kyle Field, please wear rain gear and ponchos.
