The Texas A&M Corps of Cadets sent 26 students to Turkey for an 11-day visit in January 2014. The cadets were accompanied by Dr. Sena Karasipahi and a representatives from The Raindrop Foundation. Each year the Corps conducts three International Excursions  designed to allow cadets to learn about the various diplomatic, military, informational economic, and religious/cultural issues that affect foreign countries, and how those issues are of importance to the United States. Texas A&M University Global Program Support works closely with the Corps on the planning and execution of the excursions.
