aggie rings - studentsStudent workers in the Texas A&M University Aggie Honor System Office are campaigning to increase awareness of academic integrity on campus during finals.

The students will be in Rudder Plaza on Monday and Tuesday (May 2-3) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. distributing out surveys testing students’ knowledge of academic misconduct as well as passing out free snacks and prizes.

The Aggie Code of Honor states: “An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal, or tolerate those who do.”

The students say their goal is to increase academic awareness among the student body and to uphold the mission of the Aggie Honor System Office. That mission is to serve as a centralized organization established to educate about the Aggie Code of Honor, respond to reported academic violations and facilitate remediation efforts for students found responsible for violations.
