Each year Texas A&M joins colleges and universities across the country in recognizing the importance of the student employment experience during National Student Employment Week. White and Kemper will each receive a $2000 scholarship from the Association of Former Students.

The students were also named recipients of the Class of ’56 Student Employee Endowed Award. The Texas A&M Class of 1956, in recognition of its 50th anniversary, established this award to assist students so they could work less and graduate sooner. Each recipient was awarded a $3,000 scholarship.
