2016 George Bush Foundation Community Grant RecipientsSeventeen Brazos Valley non-profits and Texas A&M University recognized student organizations have been selected to receive 2016 George Bush Foundation Community Grants. The grants carry maximum awards of $10,000 and are awarded annually to eligible organizations.

Through the awarding of the Community Grants, the George Bush Foundation highlights the importance President Bush places on education and public service, noted Fred McClure, chief executive officer of the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation.

“As President Bush said, ‘We all have something to give’,” McClure added. “He has called on all of us to support our communities by doing what we can to improve the lives of those around us. These community grants allow our foundation to assist local organizations in expanding their reach in the Brazos Valley.”
