Ohana Named Police Officer Of The Year

Senior Police Officer Donny Ohana has been awarded “Officer of the Year.”

The Texas A&M University Police Department (UPD) is honored to announce that Senior Police Officer Donny Ohana has been awarded “Officer of the Year.” This award is given annually to an officer who embodies a high moral character and demonstrates exemplary performance in all areas of police work. Officer Ohana is a hard worker who executes his duties in a consistent and professional manner regardless of the task. He was selected for this honor by his peers for his unselfish dedication and his devotion to the UPD and the Texas A&M University community.

Officer Ohana started his career with the UPD in 2008. He is 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science and Digital Forensics at Sam Houston State University. Officer Ohana and his wife, Whitney ’07 have been married for three years and have one daughter, Anaiah.
