tamu lawStudents wanting to know more about attending law school are encouraged to participate in the annual Law School Caravan from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 28) in the second floor ballroom of the Memorial Student Center.

Admission to the event is free and it is open to the public. Students, faculty and staff from any school are welcome.

Organizers say more than half of the law schools in the U.S. will have representatives on hand to visit with prospective students.

Students are advised to use the ABA/LSAC Official Guide to ABA-Approved Law Schools to learn more about the schools that interest them at http://officialguide.lsac.org. They will find information there about grade ranges, LSAT ranges, numbers of applicants, deadlines, class size and more. This will allow them to come prepared to visit with representatives of the schools they would most like to attend.

The annual visit of the Law School Caravan is sponsored by the South West Association of PreLaw Advisors, the Office of Professional & Graduate School Advising and the Texas A&M PreLaw Society.

Parking is available in several campus garages and maps and directions are available at http://www.tamu.edu.
