Aggies To Participate In 60th Presidential Inauguration In Washington, D.C.

A proud experience awaits two Texas A&M University student groups as they prepare to take center stage at major events tied to the presidential inauguration in Washington D.C.
The Aggie Wranglers will perform at the Texas State Society Black Tie and Boots Ball on Sunday, Jan. 19.
The Fish Drill Team, made up of 23 members of the Corps of Cadets, will also perform at the Black Tie and Boots Ball. These cadets, known for their energy and precision, are eager to bring their unique moves to the distinguished gathering.
Texas A&M officials said the groups have been invited to previous inaugurations and always demonstrate exceptional talent, hard work and a commitment to their craft.
“It is an honor for the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets to represent our great university and the state of Texas,” Interim Commandant Lt. Gen. Loyd S. “Chip” Utterback said. “Our cadets are living examples of Texas A&M’s dedication to excellence. These men and women represent the commitment of all Aggies to serve and lead with integrity and respect. The Corps has had this honor in the past and it simply never gets old.”
