Texas A&M To Celebrate More Than 5,600 Graduates At Fall Commencement Ceremonies
Texas A&M University will award approximately 5,622 degrees to fall graduates at commencement ceremonies this week. Commencements will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, and Friday, Dec. 13, for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students. There will be a military commissioning ceremony during the 9 a.m. commencement on Dec. 13, with 58 members of the university’s Corps of Cadets set to be commissioned into the U.S. armed services.
Graduates will have their names called and walk the stage, then return to their seats. Diploma tubes will be provided at the ceremonies for photographs. Diplomas will be mailed after the ceremony.
Commencements are a celebration of each student’s accomplishments, and every effort is made to ensure the safety, security and decorum of a public event suitable for their success. Guests are encouraged to refrain from disruptive behaviors, which may negatively impact this special moment for students and their families. Clear bags are required at all commencement ceremonies at Reed Arena.
The ceremonies will be televised live by KAMU-TV and livestreamed via the KAMU website at kamu.tamu.edu.
Details for each ceremony can be found here.
