Four Faculty Selected For 2024-25 SEC Fellowship
Every year, each of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) institutions select four SEC Academic Leadership Development Program (ALDP) fellows annually to participate in a conference-wide development initiative for future academic leaders. Texas A&M’s four newly selected fellows will take part in the university-led development program, two workshops for all SEC participants, and be encouraged to participate in a competitive administrative growth/campus development project as a program alumnus.
Texas A&M’s 2024-25 SEC Academic Leadership Development Program fellows are:
- Dr. Tamika Gilreath, School of Public Health
- Dr. Phil Lewis, College of Architecture
- Dr. Simon North, College of Arts and Sciences
- Dr. Ramesh Vemulapalli, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
Faculty completing the SEC ALDP fellowship have progressed to university leadership positions as deans, associate vice presidents and other executive roles. Texas A&M faculty fellows are nominated by deans and other administrators for demonstrating the abilities and desire to develop in their roles as academic and institutional leaders.
