Connecting First-Generation Aggies
The student organization is dedicated to assisting all first-generation students at Texas A&M.
Isaac Valdez ’23 is president of First Generation Aggies, an organization that connects and provides resources to first-generation college students attending Texas A&M University.
Valdez says that through the organization he was able to meet a group of students that allowed him to interact with others from his culture in a more personal way.
“Even though FGA did start as a mainly Hispanic organization, throughout the last two years, we’ve been seeing a little bit of diversity as well as different people of color or minorities,” he said.
