UPDATE: 12th Can Food Pantry Friday Opening Delayed

OPENING CANCELLED. Following a weather advisory for the Brazos County area, the scheduled pantry opening for Friday, Feb. 19 has been cancelled. If you are in need of food assistance before the next pantry opening on March 3, fill out this confidential form and a 12th Can staff member will be in touch.

Following a weather advisory for the Brazos County area, the 12th Can Food Pantry’s regularly scheduled opening has been rescheduled to Friday, Feb. 19 from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Pantry officials will be closely monitoring the weather and sharing updates on social media as changes take place.

This on-campus, student-run food pantry serves all Texas A&M students, faculty and staff who are in need of assistance. The pantry has implemented a drive-through model with pre-packaged bags. Bringing a car is encouraged, but there is a walk-up option.

The next pantry openings will be from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on:

  • Wednesday, March 3 and Thursday, March 4
  • Wednesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 18

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with somehow who has tested positive, for the safety of our volunteers and clients, visit The Brazos Valley Food Bank website for alternate assistance.

Requirements to use the pantry:

  • Meet income requirements (found on the “Using the Pantry” tab on 12thcan.tamu.edu)
  • Wear a face covering in accordance with state*, local*, and university* guidelines
  • Present a valid Texas A&M ID

If your financial stability has been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, you may qualify for assistance.

New clients:
If you are able, have this form printed and filled out when you arrive at the pantry.

If you take Bus Route 6 (12th Man), you will get off at the Vet School stop. The Mail Services Building is approximately 100 feet from the bus stop. On Aggie Maps it is named PRCH (0957).
