The fourth annual Texas A&M Race Identity & Social Equity (RISE) Conference will take place virtually on March 25-26, 2021 and proposals are due by Jan. 11.

The RISE Program Committee is accepting proposals for panels, individual papers, workshops and alternative session formats that allow for audience participation and community engagement in a virtual format.

Submissions are welcome from undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff who would like to present research focused in the RISE areas.

The RISE Initiative provides a year-long research opportunity for undergraduate students at Texas A&M, culminating with presentations of the research at the RISE Conference.

The RISE Conference also seeks to provide an opportunity for a campus wide discussion around significant issues of race, identity, and social equity on campus, in the nation and on a global scale.

Learn more about the RISE Initiative.

All submissions should be completed at tx.ag/RISE2021.
