MSC CAMAC has created an ofrenda currently on display in the Reynolds Gallery on the second floor of the Texas A&M University Memorial Student Center.

Designed to celebrate the Mexican holiday of Día de los Muertos, MSC CAMAC built the ofrenda to welcome back the souls of deceased loved ones. The ofrenda is a home altar with a collection of objects and photos placed on ritual display.

The ofrenda also features traditional elements of candles, flowers, foods, candy skulls, images of saints and pictures of departed loved ones.

Photos featured have been submitted by students, faculty and members of the local community.

The ofrenda, on display until Nov. 3 at 4 p.m., will also feature a QR code for visitors learn about the history and traditions of Día de los Muertos.
