As students return to campus, Texas A&M University Student Business Services has announced new procedures for students to receive their Aggie Card (student ID) in an effort to ensure health and safety.

  • New Students who will be living in campus housing will receive their Aggie ID in their housing packet, distributed August 8-18.
  • Beginning Aug. 3, new students living off campus can pick up their ID by appointment at Kyle Field West ticket booth between the Hall of Champions and McFerrin Athletic Center.
  • Beginning Aug. 3 through the end of the fall semester, continuing students who need a new ID may request one at myaggiecard.tamu.edu. Once approved, students may pick up the ID by appointment at Kyle Field West ticket booth.

Appointments for pick up will be made after an ID application is approved.

Texas A&M distributes around 18,000 cards at the beginning of each fall semester, according to Student Business Services Executive Director Jennifer Lightfoot.

Students who are working remotely do not need to pick up their IDs if they are not coming to campus. Lightfoot said Student Business Services will keep the IDs available until students can return to campus for pick up.
