The 2019 Texas A&M University System Technology Summit has announced its focus for the 2019 summit: building stronger and more diverse teams. With speakers on the schedule such as Lauren Hasson from DevelopHER, Jenn Stringer from the University of California, Berkeley, and Marilyn Meador from Tarleton State University, attendees will have a lot to take away.

Tech Summit is the place Texas A&M employees come to learn from the best, exchange ideas on common challenges and learn from each other. Tech professionals have the rare chance to blend technical learning across a wide range of subjects including leadership, security, web technologies, project management and now, that list includes diversity.

The keynote panel titled “Building Strong and Diverse Teams” includes Dee Childs, Vice President for Information Technology at Texas A&M University, as well as Hasson, Stringer, and Meador, and will focus on how to make a bigger impact in education, technology and how the structure of our teams can better foster innovation.

With more than 50 speakers slated for the 2019 Tech Summit, attendees will leave with new knowledge on topics such as the future of technology’s role in higher education, strategic planning and new IT security practices.

Tickets for the three-day event are still available. Visit the Tech Summit website to register or see the full schedule.
