New Parking Garage To Include Recreation And Dining Space

The Polo Garage Project scheduled for October 2020 completion will include a recreation center, food court and office space.

Construction for the $78.4 million Polo Garage Project is scheduled to begin March 2019 with substantial completion for the parking garage scheduled for July 2020 and October 2020 for the remainder of the project. The project will include a recreation center, food court and office space.

The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents approved of a plan Thursday to construct a five-story, 546,000 square foot parking garage on the north side of campus.

In addition to a garage with 1,685 parking spaces, the Polo Garage project, which also calls for a recreation center, a food court and office space at the current location of Lot 50 near the Emerging Technologies Building on University Drive.
