Texas A&M University Police Welcomes New Police Officers

On Monday, Dec. 10, the new officers will report for duty to begin their field training.

The Texas A&M University Police Department (TAMU-PD) would like to welcome five new police officers to the department:

  • Seth Chilton
  • Toby Falcon
  • Justin Gariepy
  • Qifan Lin
  • Matthew Luper

The new officers were sworn in today by Chief J. Michael Ragan during a ceremony at the TAMU-PD honoring their recent completion of the Central Texas Police Academy’s 163rd Basic Peace Officer Course.  Following the ceremony, the officers will attend their academy graduation ceremony at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center.

On Monday, Dec. 10, the new officers will report for duty to begin their field training. The officers will spend the next 20 weeks paired with Field Training Officers to learn the duties of being a police officer at Texas A&M University.
