1. Texas A&M Campus Muster Ceremony To Be Held Monday, April 22, 2019

The one-time date change for the campus Muster ceremony from its usual day of observance on San Jacinto Day, April 21, was prompted by the date coinciding with the Easter Sunday holiday, a time when traveling to and from campus may be difficult for members of the Texas A&M campus community and loved ones of deceased Aggies being honored.

2. Texas A&M Student-Led ‘You Are Not Alone’ Event Oct. 18

Texas A&M University student leaders representing organizations from across campus will host renowned professional counselor and post-trauma counseling specialist Whitney Bliss for a discussion on supporting sexual assault survivors Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. in Rudder Theatre.

A researcher-led team at Texas A&M University is planning to build the Texas Virtual Data Library, or Texas ViDaL, a secure and cloud-based computing environment that will allow researchers from many academic disciplines to work with sensitive data from a variety of sources while fully protecting the confidentiality of the information.

5. Texas A&M Public Policy Research Institute To Celebrate 35th Anniversary With Conference

The Public Policy Research Institute (PPRI) at Texas A&M University has been making its mark on both state and national policy procedure for 35 years. To celebrate, PPRI will host a conference on Monday, Nov. 5, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The George Hotel in College Station.
