Barbara Bush’s Gravesite Open To The Public

The gravesite of Former First Lady Barbara Bush at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum on the campus of Texas A&M University opened early Monday and will remain open to the public during regular hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Meanwhile, a short remembrance ceremony is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the fountain plaza in front of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. The event is being organized by the Public Programs Interns at the library and is open to the public. Free admission to the library will end Tuesday evening.

This week, the Bush Presidential Library and Museum is accepting donations of new and gently used children’s books that will be given to Books & a Blanket in honor of Mrs. Bush and her passion for family literacy.
