Texas Aggie Yell Leaders announced that Gavin Suel will serve as the 2018-2019 Head Yell Leader at Texas A&M University.
“Gavin is highly experienced, very sharp and a great critical thinker who makes good decisions,” said Texas A&M University Aggie Yell Leader Adviser Kenneth Johnson. “He can think on his feet and take input from lots of constituent groups to find the best ways to engage students.”
Suel, a kinesiology major from College Station, served as Junior Yell Leader before being selected for this new role. He also served as Mascot Corporal in the Corps of Cadets.
The Head Yell Leader is selected through an application and interview process.
The inaugural ceremony honored Distinguished Dissertation, Montgomery and Outstanding Mentoring awardees, and GRAD Aggies certificate earners.
