Hasan Minhaj, an actor, writer and comedian best known for his work as a correspondent for The Daily Show, will headline “Made in America: An International Experience” at Rudder Auditorium on the campus of Texas A&M University Tuesday, March 27 at 7 p.m.

2. 2018 Distinguished Achievement Award Recipients Announced

Texas A&M University and The Association of Former Students have selected 24 outstanding members of the school’s faculty and staff to be honored with 2018 Distinguished Achievement Awards.

3. First Year Of T3 Program At Texas A&M Closes With 100 Interdisciplinary Projects Selected For Funding

The first initiative in the 10-year, $100 million President’s Excellence Fund—T3: Texas A&M Triads for Transformation—recently closed the first round and 100 innovative interdisciplinary projects were randomly selected for funding. The fund will invest approximately $3 million annually in T3 projects.

4. Texas A&M Improves In U.S. News Grad School Rankings

Texas A&M University has made impressive improvements in several academic areas in the latest U.S. News and World Report rankings of graduate schools, with the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, the College of Engineering, Mays Business School, the Bush School of Government and Public Service and the Texas A&M University School of Law all faring well.

5. Business Honors Junior Amy Sharp Elected As 2018-19 Student Body President

After serving as the Class of 2019 president three years in a row, Mays management junior Amy Sharp readily steps up as the next Texas A&M University Student Body President. She received 66.03 percent of the votes.
