Judith H. Lewis, senior information technology manager at Texas A&M University, has been named a recipient of the 2018 Ones to Watch Award from CIO and the CIO Executive Council.

The CIO Ones to Watch Awards honor rising stars in information technology — senior staff destined to become the CIOs of the future — as identified and sponsored by the CIOs of today’s leading organizations. Nominees are judged on their job history, job scope and on-the-job accomplishments by a panel of CIOs – past CIO 100 Award winners and CIO Executive Council members.

Lewis will be recognized at the AGENDA18 conference in Miami in March.

“Digital businesses need business savvy tech leaders to advance their organization and the 2018 Ones to Watch Awards recognize these individuals,” said Adam Dennison, SVP & general manager, IDG Events and CIO Executive Council, and publisher of CIO. “The winners all demonstrated the kind of innovative spirit, focus and determination that future CIOs will need.”

Dee Childs, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Texas A&M University, said Lewis is deserving of the award.

“The Ones to Watch Award is a great honor and highly respected among IT professionals,” she said. “Judith is visionary and we are proud to have her in a leadership role at Texas A&M.”

CIO is the premier content and community resource for information technology executives and leaders and is owned by IDG Communications, Inc.
