The Office for Diversity and the Academic Affairs Climate and Diversity Committee (AACDC) announce a series of campus sessions that were featured at the 2017 National Conference on Race and Ethnicity (NCORE) in American Higher Education Conference held recently in Fort Worth, Texas.

The National Conference on Race and Ethnicity (NCORE) attracts over 3,000 participants, representing more than 1,000 higher education institutions from across the nation, and serves as a catalyst for promoting equity and human rights through education, research, advocacy, and collaboration for universities and society at large to ensure opportunities for all. At NCORE 2017, over 120 Texas A&M student leaders, faculty, and administrators attended sessions with several leading conference sessions and poster sessions. Several of these issues relate to ongoing campus efforts of our University Diversity Plan goals of accountability, climate, and equity.

We will feature the following NCORE sessions over the next couple of months. Registration is currently available for all of the sessions in the series. Use the links provided to register or contact Deyanira Ely at (979) 458-2905, or by email, dely@tamu.edu. Please inform us of any necessary accommodations when registering.

This is a brown bag series, so bring your lunch for sessions during the day. Refreshments will be provided at the sessions.  For more information about the series, please visit the Diversity Speaker Series web page.
