Thousands of Aggies spanning multiple generations will gather on the Texas A&M University campus this Friday for Muster, the event held annually on April 21 to honor Aggies who have passed away in the last year.
The Muster ceremony at Reed Arena will include remarks from keynote speaker Eddie Joe Davis Jr. ’67, who most recently served as the president of the Texas A&M Foundation after a career as an educator and administrator at Texas A&M and the Texas A&M University System.
The Campus Muster Ceremony, including the Roll Call for the Absent, will begin at 7 p.m. in Reed Arena. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and overflow seating will be available in Rudder Auditorium.
Before the ceremony itself, Campus Muster will officially begin at 7 a.m. with a flag raising ceremony in Academic Plaza, followed by the Camaraderie Barbecue near the northeast corner of Kyle Field Plaza by the E. King Gill statue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Reflections Display honoring all members in this year’s Roll Call for the Absent will be available in the Memorial Student Center Flag Room beginning April 18 through April 21 at 1 p.m.
