The 62nd Annual Student Conference on National Affairs (SCONA) will be Feb. 16-18 at the MSC.
SCONA is an annual collegiate conference that brings delegates from all over the nation and the world. Each year, SCONA discusses a different topic of national importance, giving delegates the chance to interact with the nation’s highest academic scholars, government officials, and well-known public figures.
The conference theme this year is “Against All Enemies Foreign And Domestic: Securing The Homeland” will feature the following guests:
- Admiral Michael Rogers: Director of the NSA and Commander of U.S. Cyber Command
- General Robert B. Neller: Commandant of the Marine Corps
- Dr. Tawfiq Hamid: Former Islamic Extremist and Author
- Dr. Charles McMillian: Director of Los Alamos National Laboratory
- General William Rapp: Commandant of the U.S. Army War College
Early registration ends this Friday (Jan. 27); late registration extends until Feb. 3.
