Constitution Week Events
On Constitution Day, Sept. 17, Americans will celebrate the 229th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. During the weeks before and after Constitution Day, which is on a Saturday this year, entities all over campus will be celebrating with a variety of observances to commemorate this historic event.

Wednesday, September 14
7:00 p.m. Wiley Lecture Series Constitution Day Forum “License to Vote: Voter I.D. Laws and the Constitution,” MSC 2401, a panel discussion with noted speakers.
Saturday, September 17, Constitution Day
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Aggie Agora Hackathon “Amending the Constitution,” LAAH 453 – all are welcome, advance registration is required. Refreshments will be provided. Prizes will be awarded for the best proposals.

Friday, September 23
10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Aggie Agora First Friday Lecture Series hosts “Lessons From Ferguson: Why I Refuse to Send People to Jail,” Rudder Tower 401 – presented by Edward Spillane, presiding municipal court judge, College Station.
