Celebrating George Bush’s 92nd Birthday

Bush BirthdayOn Friday June 10,  the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum will offer birthday cake and refreshments so that visitors can commemorate the 92nd birthday of our 41st President. The library will also be celebrating the birthday of former First Lady Barbara Bush who turns 91 on June 8.  Cake and refreshments will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Library visitors also will be able to enjoy the newest exhibit Driven to Drive: Defining Our Identity.  In partnership with the Houston Automobile & Transportation Museum, this exhibit tells the story of the automobile through historical objects, interactive media and hands-on displays, highlighting cars beginning with the 1950s through the present and into the future.

The exhibit will be on display in the Bush Library’s Ansary Gallery of American History beginning May 16, 2016, and runs through Jan. 8, 2017.

While the birthday event is free, regular admission fees to the museum still apply. For more information visit Bush41.org.
