Director of Athletics Bill Byrne has announced several football agreements including the 2007 and 2008 Aggie football schedules.

“I am pleased to announce the 2007 and 2008 Aggie football schedules,” Byrne said. “I appreciate the patience of everyone as we waited until all contracts were signed before announcing the schedule. We are pleased to have seven home football games at Kyle Field and a nationally televised game against Miami in 2007.”

“In 2008 we get return home games from Army and Miami as well as finishing out a contract with Arkansas State,” Byrne said. “We also begin a home-and-home series with New Mexico in 2008.”

In the event Aggie home games are not picked up for television, the start times will remain at 6 p.m. during the month of September and 1 p.m. in October and November.

Byrne also announced some non-conference agreements for 2009 with New Mexico returning to Kyle Field (Sept. 5) and Utah State (Sept. 19) coming to Kyle Field for one game. The Aggies will travel to Shreveport, Louisiana, to continue a 2-for-1 series with Louisiana Tech facing the Bulldogs at Independence Stadium on Sept. 12, 2009.
