Many students at the Texas A&M Health Science Center – to include the College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and the School of Public Health – are in need of quick-fund, small grants to help them pay for immediate needs in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.
Some medical students are, for example, selflessly serving in clinical work in Houston area hospitals after themselves losing cars, housing, clothing and other property in the flooding. Texas A&M University and the 501(c)(3) Texas A&M University Foundation have partnered to ensure that funds are appropriated correctly to those most in need.
