1. Washington Monthly Ranks Texas A&M No. 4 Among Nation’s Best

Texas A&M University is ranked No. 4 –the only institution in Texas among the Top 20 – in Washington Monthly’s rankings of the best universities in the country.

Texas A&M officials will break ground on the John D. White ’70 – Robert L. Walker ’58 Music Activities Center on Friday, Sept. 8.

2. Texas A&M To Break Ground On $40 Million Music Activities Center

Texas A&M University will break ground on the new $40 million John D. White ’70 – Robert L. Walker ’58 Music Activities Center on Friday, Sept. 8, at 2:30 p.m., at the corner of George Bush Drive and Coke Street in College Station.

3. Texas A&M Galveston Is Closed Until Further Notice

Due to flooding on Galveston and Houston roadways, Texas A&M University at Galveston is closed until further notice.

5. Bush Library 20th Anniversary Exhibit Opening Sept. 1

This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Center and a special Bush Library exhibit will celebrate the three entities of the center: the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, The George H.W. Bush Foundation and the Bush School of Government and Public Service.
