Monday Update: Texas A&M University-College Station Classes Begin Wednesday; Campus Services Are Available

Texas A&M University-College Station officials announce that classes on the College Station campus will begin as planned on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

Classes on the College Station campus will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 30 as planned and the university will be in full operation;
Students having severe difficulty getting to campus may contact Student Assistance Services at (979) 845-3113 and also are encouraged to contact their professors directly;
Faculty and Staff who are experiencing severe difficulty getting to campus should contact their department head or supervisor;
The Becky Gates Children’s Center will reopen on Wednesday, Aug. 30;
Dining halls will remain open;
On-campus bus service will run from 8 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday and resume full service Wednesday;
The Memorial Student Center and Student Recreation Center will remain open from 8 AM – 7PM on Tuesday and resume full hours beginning on Wednesday;
Student Health Services will remain open from 8 AM to 5 PM with limited staff on Tuesday and will resume on Wednesday;
The Libraries will be open with limited staff on Tuesday – consult library website – and will resume full hours and service beginning on Wednesday.

Aug. 28 update: Due to flooding on Galveston and Houston roadways, Texas A&M University at Galveston is closed until further notice. For updates on the Galveston campus, visit tamug.edu.
