Community Of Scholars Dinner Set For April 7

TAMUThe Office of Graduate and Professional Studies and the Graduate and Professional Student Council is hosting the 2015 Community of Scholars Dinner & Dialogue: Savoring the Journey on Tuesday, April 7 at the Memorial Student Center (MSC) Bethancourt Ballroom.

Join the Texas A&M graduate community of students, faculty and staff for an evening of dining and conversation celebrating Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week. The evening will begin with a reception from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and discussion from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. Faculty table hosts will lead lively and engaging conversations with others in our graduate community about savoring and appreciating one’s personal journey.

This year’s speakers who will set the stage for discussions over dinner include Dr. John J. McDermott, University Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and Humanities; Dr. Haiyan Wang, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering; and Dr. Luis Ponjuan, Associate Professor of Higher Education Administration.
