bush schoolForeign Policy magazine has ranked the Texas A&M University master’s program in international relations among the top 25 such programs in the nation for policy careers in international relations.

The 2014 Ivory Tower survey – a collaboration between the magazine and the Teaching, Research, and International Policy (TRIP) project at the College of William and Mary – drew responses from 1,615 international relations scholars from 1,375 U.S. colleges and universities in order to determine the rankings of the top international relations programs in the world.

Texas A&M joins such prestigious universities as Georgetown, Harvard, Princeton and Johns Hopkins as having one of the top programs for those seeking careers in international relations. According to the Foreign Policy report, the survey clearly reveals which “institutions are effectively nurturing future generations of thinkers and policy makers.”

“It’s an honor to be recognized for having one of the top international relations master’s programs in the world,” said Bush School Dean Ryan Crocker. “This recognition is a clear indicator that Texas A&M University – and more specifically the Bush School of Government and Public Service – is effectively preparing the next generation of principled leaders.”

Foreign Policy magazine is one of the most widely-circulated and credible international policy publications in the world. Over 600,000 people subscribe to the print newsletter and the online site reports over 3.5 million monthly readers.
